Great Grandparents of Francis “Fritz” Knecht, a life long resident of Narrowsburg.

Ernestine and Nicholas Lived in Lava on Nober Strunk Road, where they owned and operated a farm and boarding house.

This is their wedding portrait from circa 1853.

Ernestine died on the farm in 1910 and Nicholas died on the farm in 1920.
